There She Goes Clear Stamps: Fabulous Blog Hop Challenge

I am sooo late in posting this. Things just kept getting in the way--know what I mean? Anyway, below are the pictures from the February meeting of the InkSpots. We all had such a great time. Amy, our hostess, brought a great lunch, and Lesli brought the best cupcakes ever in honor of my birthday. I have to say the Velvet Elvis was the best cupcake I have ever eaten. Serioulsy!!! I am sure I will be going to this place for a second helping real soon.

We completed 3 projects this month: 1 card, 1 explosion box and 1 votive wrapper . The latter two porjects were new techniques for the group. The votive wrapper involved the embedded embossing technique. I have been seeing this technique everywhere and we had to give it a try. It was so easy and the effect is great. Great on card fronts too.

This past Saturday, the InkSpots meet for the first time in 2011 and welcomed 2 new members: Diana and Monique. We are so glad you have joined us! It will be great getting to know both of you better as the months go by.

The group made 3 cards-all Stampin' Up supplies. Everyone loved the new Cupcake punch and stamps.

I cased this card totally from stamperdog,com. The corderoy button is an old Stampin' Up item that has been retired. I just loved everything about it.
